Feingold for President

Seriously, man. If you recall, back in 2001 he was the single solitary Senator to vote against the Patriot Act. That's gotta be a pretty damn potent weapon in his arsenal right now.

In all honesty, I don't think that many of the Democrats are going along with the administration because they are "cowering" in fear, so much as because they actually agree with it. I don't know, you tell me: who is there in the Senate or Congress who opposes, in principle, our crazed policy of imposing "democracy" by force on every country on earth? I would vote for Feingold if he ran, due to his opposition to the Patriot Act, but I can't think of anybody else. I'm certainly not voting for Hillary, if she really gets nominated. I have my limits.

Ugh. I'd probably vote for Hillary, at least if it looked like a close race. And then throw up. Lieberman, I think I'd draw the line at. It's like some sort of perverse reality show. Would you eat a rat for a million dollars? How about a giant cockroach? Well?

There are actually a fair number of people I'd be happy to vote for, including a few who might actually be nominated. Still. Speculation at this point is pretty meaningless.
