So how about...
...that pro-environmental-protection ad with Al Sharpton and Pat Robertson? It blows my fucking mind with the bizarreness of its very existence. And since when were right-wingers in favor of not destroying the planet, anyway? Strange times.

I earlier conceded to you on a comment thread at Liberal Fascism/the Poor Man that the Scarlett Johansson cover album of Tom Waits songs pushed Tom to the all time Number 1 mark but then I listened to it and now, I don't see how the world's a better place for this being released and am returning to my belief in Bob Dylan as number 1.
I still like looking at Scarlett, mind you. I just think life is too short to sit through this again.
Duly noted! I wasn't really planning on ever listening to it myself unless everyone agreed it was the awesomest thing ever. It was mostly just a cheap talking point.
I still can't bring myself to be a big Dylan fan, although 16 Horsepower's cover of "Nobody 'cept You" is beautiful. I've never heard the original, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't like it as much.
